Grant Garibyan offers a complete education package that nurtures music students and provides them a great deal of opportunities to perform, network, and perfect their music skills. You can be assured of receiving music instruction that is second to none while catering for all levels from absolute beginners right through to very advanced violinists. Grant Garibyan offers 1 hour, 45 minute and 30 minute lessons in the Granada Hills area in his studio.

In addition, Grant also provides the service to commute to the comfort of your home for the violin lessons.

Grant also offers 1 hour, 45 minute and 30 minute Virtual/Online Violin Lessons using the most popular video platforms such as Zoom.

Programs offered to charter school students are non-religious.

WHAT I WILL BE OFFERING AS A TEACHER

With more than 16 years of experience, I have developed violinistic systems for success. I focus on building confidence, honing violin technique consistently and inspiring my students with beautiful masterpieces from the violin repertoire. In my violin studio, I cover basic to the most advanced technique, scales/method books and violin pieces according to their appropriate level.

As a teacher I am inspiring, analytical and will give you the solutions to any of your musical and technical concerns. It is my greatest satisfaction to have my students reach their musical goals. With your diligent practicing, I will inspire you with new masterpieces, goals and techniques that will give you the necessary skills to perform well.

WHAT I REQUIRE AS A TEACHER

BUILDING BLOCKS

Practice: I require my students to practice regularly according to their level and goals

30 minutes of practice is recommended for at least 5 days a week for beginner violinists.

45 minutes of practice is recommended for at least 5 days a week for intermediate violinists.

1 hour or more of practice is recommended for at least 5 days a week for advanced and more ambitious violinists. I recommend students who are preparing for auditions and competitions to give yourself ample enough of time to practice and perfect your material.

Prepared:

I require my students to come to the violin lessons prepared as we will be working on technique and preparing for your recital/concerts coming up. With you being prepared and completing the given assignments, you will be amazed on how fast you will develop.

On time:

I expect students to be 5 minutes early to their scheduled lesson, respecting the time block they have been scheduled for.

POLICY

Lessons are once a week for 1 hour, 45 minutes or 30 minutes depending on level. Payments are received once a month in full at the beginning of the month. Payments received from charter school programs will be received according to their policy of payment. Any cancellation due to emergency should be done 24 hour in advanced. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the lesson, thus getting billed for the lesson. One make up lesson will be honored a month due to illness upon the availability of the teacher. Student/Family vacations are honored with at least a prior weeks notice.
